None of these were intentional. I was trying hard to photograph the birds sitting or picking up a seed. They were being spooked by something the camera (or the flash) was doing an instant before the shutter tripped. It's surprising how extremely fast their reflexes were. Once they got used to the camera - I got the sitting photos I wanted.
