Nature in a suburban backyard
Oh we love the robins. They get quite used to us in our back yard and even ignore the dog most of the time by mid summer.
Robins amaze me with their hunting prowess.I watch them hop along, listen . . . listen . . . and then pounce. They never come up empty-handed!
...make that empty-beaked!
I have seen them spy a worm from twenty feet.
I love watching them hunt. There is a lady in our back yard who has been very busy lately, no doubt feeding young.
