Cool Colors.

Before I get totally into the Fall season, I thought I would upload some photographs taken earlier this year.

The Watcher

A wandering siamese thinks I can't see her behind my tomato plants. She is keeping a close eye on some tempting birds but dares not try to catch them. The birds she was watching were some very big parrots. Dream on puss!

It looks dangerous...

But in reality this bloom is quite soft to the touch. It's a type of thistle - Echinops rito.

Lets not get too close!

I'm not certain if this is a yellowjacket, or a cicada killer wasp - but I was surrounded by them on the bamboo blooms.

Mayfly Wings

Remarkable wing structure.
