These critters are very much like big guinea pigs. Not highly intelligent - at least not to the extent of raccoons. However they can become 'friendly'. This little guy is starting to enjoy a good scritch around the ears. Just a quiet, gentle vegan.
Well, how smart does he have to be, after all? :-)
