Moving day


Mother has decided it's time to move her family from their birth den to summer quarters.  This is Chloe with two of her bigger youngsters. She had to carry the other two, one at a time.

So where does Chloe live in the summer? Does she move her family off your property?
Do the babies have a dad or is Chloe a single mom? *grin*

Male raccoons have nothing to do with raising the youngsters, in fact the females will drive the males away from the kits. Chloe moved her family to the neighbours garage, then moved them again about a week later. I don'tknow where but they continued to return to my back yard every day. I suspect two of the youngsters may be spending the winter in my utility shed.
