I suspect the squirrels have the edge here, mainly because of their numbers. The jays let me know when there is nothing on the feeder though - and wait patiently for me to add some goodies. Earlier today the squirrels got some competition from three crows. Thats a first for the feeder! Also a black squirrel arrived a few minutes ago - but too shy for me to get a photo. Later perhaps. ATB!
