Napoleon is adorable and your photos are beautiful. I know much is going on in a suburban garden, all you have to do is look.

Your header is fabulous, as are the rest of your nature shots!!! Being a wildlife artist, I see hidden beauty in the shadows and highlights of these dear lil' creatures. It was always a sad day when my daughter and I were still doing taxidermy, when someone would bring in a baby coon to be mounted...it was a sad day everyday. But I always said a silent prayer of thanks to the spirit of my forest friends, thanking them for the food and trying to not waste any of a precious body.

Some day I'll have a telephoto lens to take closeups of my critters, then I can paint my own renditions without having to borrow.

I also love your last rose of summer...sigh...!

Napoleon is one big squirrel! He is the absolute boss when around, though the ravens will tease the heck out of him at times.

Sweet Repose, feel free to use any of the photographs, all I ask is the watermark and name remain - and not used in a commercial manner.
