I heard your area got a lot of snow, hopefully you get a break now. Love this squirrel, I've only ever seen the cranky red squirrels but know a few people who really love these ones that you get.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I just scrolled through all your beautiful photographs. Lovely colors. My goodness but your squirrels look fat -- er.. perhaps well fed is more tactful. I have joined your followers because you post about things I like and your photos are SO good!
Even though I have squirrel proof bird feeders...I go out every morning before daylight and throw whole corn for the squirrel and rabbits. I enjoy all the critters that visit me.
Hi Country Mouse - no, not that much snow. A bit more than the weather office expected, but there is only about ten inches (over a litle more than a week)- on the ground - not at all bad. The weather (snowfall) has been much greater in western Ontario. They got clobbered!
Hi Carol. Yes, they all have a place in nature - all worth while. It's fun to watch the ravens teasing the squirrels. No one gets nasty, no one gets hurt. Fuzzytail tries to chase Big Bird from a tasty bit of food - bird hops, and another moves in to grab the food before Fuzzytail realizes it's gone. No matter though - there is more than enough for all of them.
Hey Bunnits, I see you got your snow. Grin. Never say never. I hear our local TV weatherperson is saying we may be in for another noreaster - big storm by Monday or Tuesday. Well, we will see. My snow shovel is already broken in. ;) ATB!

Brrrrr!
No snow here in Alabama, but temperatures are high 30's to mid 40's during the day and low 20's at night.
looks like mr squirrel is digging himself out of the snow too....
