Nothing to it...


This shows the wire passing through the bottom of the pot. Pull the yarn through to almost the surface of the medium, then pull the wire free.

Yes, even with some larger pots one strand has been enough. I suppose if one is into larger pots - say five inch ones, two or even three strands would be in order. As far as I can remember though I have only used a single strand of a heavy gauge acrilic yarn.

Later on I will describe a methodwhere one can grow a whole shelf full of plants (about 40) and water the setup only about once a week.
