Waiting for breakfast to be served

Napoleon is pretending he knows nothing about bird feeders. He is waiting quietly while I put seed out for (HA) the birds.

We have 4 or 5 squirrels, tree rats and rabbits who feed regularly on our birdseed. I think we serve the whole neighborhood! Then there are the mourning doves who are pretty but very greedy.

It still amazes me that Napoleon is such a rotund fellow.

Commenting here because I didn't comment back there on all the violet pix.
Years ago, my neighbor gave me several pots of A.V.s ...beautiful silvery petaled things in all colors. They flourished despite my desultory care. And then one by one, died over one winter, when I no doubt let them dry out too much.
You are inspiring me to begin again.
Such colors....and they GLISTEN!

Love those squirrels! We have quite a few on the campus where I work & I carry a bag of raw almonds to give out when I come across one.
