I dislike that I have to ask, shows my lack of knowledge, what is it? Is it a sedum, looks similiar to what we call House Leak.
NICE!! i bet it looks wonderful with 'flurries' on it...that deep red peeking through...
One thing I must metion. The dried up leaves around the bloom belong to another shrub - a small lilac. The leaves of the sedum are still full and green.
This is one of my most favourite of sedums (sedum ice). I have several in my garden and although they all originate from the same plant (it being easy to to grow from stem pull - cuttings) they tend to differ in that some have quite large star clusters - almost resembling Australia in their shape, others form much smaller clusters like islands in the Pacific.
Lovely and crisp photos!
