Where we can watch and relate to wildlife in a suburban backyard.

Hey Rusty - I thought you invited me for dinner?
Yes, more photographs of Napoleon. It's a nice day out there but this squirrel is the only visitor at the feast. Napoleon is getting so tame I can bring the camera, (and flash fill)- within a foot of him and he simply goes on stuffing himself.
It's time I got to work on the African violet stuff, at least until some other animals or birds show up. ATB!
Grin, probably yours. I hung this name on him back in November. It was the way he posed for his photo, with one paw seemingly tucked into a make-believe vest. Just like a famous historic person of the same name. Check out the photo posted November 17th 2010 at 7:49pm. Title was: "just Call Me Napoleon" Probably have to go back to 'older posts' or use the key words, grey squirrel, napoleon'. ATB! ps, yes he IS the bully at the feeder.

Napoleon is the name of one of my big blackbirds.
A very aggressive fellow who chases all the other blackbirds away.
So who came first, my Napoleon or yours?
