Indeed, our local groundhog cares not a bit for our human ideas about shadows and spring. He was staying warm and snug in his den - wherever it is. Obviously though no one saw any shadow today. But like the other local critters, who cares? Spring will come when it comes. ATB!

I have often wondered which groundhog counts?
I was wondering about all the groundhogs around the world. I wonder if they all talk to each other in "grounghogian" and conspire against us! Lets hope not...I am ready!...:)JP
love the snow flakes...suspended in their flight to ground. obviously...LOTS of snow has made it to the ground! flakes upon flakes...
shadows or not...spring will be here...or there...when it's time.
