such a cute animal although I wouldn't want to be too close...they get in our trash a lot around here.
Hi Country Mouse, no - not pets. They are wild. Friendly, but wild. Toward the end of summer we have to be much more careful around them. Once the hormones kick in older raccoons will react on instinct. As gentle as Kimmie is at present, she could be downright dangerous if for some reason she felt threatened. (She probably weighs in at over 40 pounds).
